Save TikToks with Chrome on Android

The four taps

1. In TikTok, tap Share → Copy link.
2. Open Chrome and go to snaqtik.com.
3. Tap the input box, paste, and tap the download button.
4. Pick MP4, HD or MP3. Chrome shows a small bar at the bottom when the file is saved.

Where Chrome puts the file

Chrome saves to the phone's shared Download folder. Three quick ways to reach it: tap Open on the bar that appears after the download; open Chrome's menu ⋮ → Downloads; or open the Files app (Files by Google on many phones) and choose Downloads.

Getting it into Gallery or Google Photos

Most gallery apps scan the Download folder automatically, so the clip usually appears in an album called Download. Google Photos only backs up folders you allow: open Photos → Library → Download and switch on Backup if you want the clip in the cloud too.

If Chrome asks questions

Chrome may ask "Download file again?" if a file with the same name already exists — tap Download and it adds a number to the name. If it asks where to save, your phone has Ask where to save files switched on in Chrome's Settings → Downloads; any folder works, just remember which one.
