Make a ringtone from a TikTok sound

SnaqTik · 2026-10-07

Save the sound with the MP3 tool, trim it to the catchy part, and set it. On Android that takes a minute; on iPhone it goes through GarageBand (free from Apple).

Step 1: save the sound

Paste the TikTok link into the MP3 tool and save the audio file.

Android

  1. Optional: trim it with a free audio editor so the best part starts immediately.
  2. Open Settings → Sound & vibration → Phone ringtone (wording varies) → tap + or From internal storage → choose the file.
  3. For notifications, use Default notification sound the same way.

Many file managers also offer long-press → Set as ringtone.

iPhone (GarageBand)

  1. Install GarageBand from the App Store (free).
  2. Create a new project (Audio Recorder), switch to the tracks view, tap the loop icon → Files → import the sound.
  3. Drag it onto the timeline and trim it to 30 seconds or less.
  4. Go back to My Songs, long-press the project → Share → Ringtone → Export.
  5. Tap Use sound as… → Standard Ringtone.

Respect the music

Using a sound as your own ringtone is personal use. Selling ringtones or uploading them elsewhere needs the rights holder's permission. Formats explained in MP3 vs M4A vs AAC.
