Install SnaqTik as an app

SnaqTik is a Progressive Web App: you can add it to your home screen from the browser in two taps. No app store, no permissions, and on Android it even appears in TikTok's Share menu.
Android (Chrome)
- Open snaqtik.com in Chrome.
- Tap ⋮ → Add to Home screen (or Install app).
- Confirm. A SnaqTik icon appears with your other apps.
Bonus: once installed, TikTok's Share → More list can include SnaqTik. Sharing a video to it opens SnaqTik with the link already filled in.
iPhone and iPad (Safari)
- Open snaqtik.com in Safari.
- Tap Share → Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add.
On iOS the icon opens SnaqTik full-screen without Safari's toolbars. Sharing straight from TikTok to a web app is not supported on iOS, so you still paste the link.
Windows, Mac, Linux and Chromebook
In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon at the right end of the address bar (a small monitor with an arrow). SnaqTik opens in its own window and shows up in your app list.
Why it is safe
An installed web app is still the website: same sandbox, no access to your contacts or files beyond what you choose to save. Removing it is like deleting any icon. Compare that with risky downloader APKs.

Does the installed app use more storage?
Barely — a few hundred kilobytes for the icon and cached page files.
Does it update itself?
Yes. It always loads the current site, so you never need to update it manually.
Can I install it on Firefox?
Firefox on Android supports "Add to Home screen". Desktop Firefox does not install web apps; use Chrome or Edge there.
