Download TikToks on a Mac

On a Mac you do not need an app at all. Open TikTok in the browser, copy the address, paste it into SnaqTik, and the MP4 lands in your Downloads folder, ready for QuickTime, Photos or Final Cut.
Steps
- Open the video on tiktok.com and copy the address bar (⌘L, then ⌘C) — or use Share → Copy link.
- Open snaqtik.com, paste (⌘V) and press Return.
- Click the format. The file appears in ~/Downloads.
Play, import, share
- Play: double-click — QuickTime Player opens MP4 files. Press Space to preview in Finder without opening anything.
- Photos: drag the file onto the Photos app icon, or File → Import. With iCloud Photos on, it reaches your iPhone too.
- AirDrop: right-click → Share → AirDrop sends it to a nearby iPhone in seconds.
Tidy filenames

Which browser is best on Mac?
Any of them. Safari is lightest on battery; Chrome and Firefox behave the same on Mac and Windows.
QuickTime says it can't open the file — why?
Some clips use HEVC or an unusual codec. Try the regular MP4 option instead of HD, or play it in VLC.
Can I change the download folder?
Yes: Safari → Settings → General → File download location; Chrome and Firefox have the same option in Settings.
