Use SnaqTik on a public computer
SnaqTik · 2026-10-07
Library, internet café, school lab or a colleague's laptop — SnaqTik works on any of them with no login. The trick is to leave nothing behind: use a private window, save to your own USB drive, and clean up.
Before you start
- Open a private window: Ctrl+Shift+N (Chrome, Edge) or Ctrl+Shift+P (Firefox).
- Do not log in to TikTok on the shared machine; copy links from your phone instead (send them to yourself, or type the short link).
- Plug in your USB drive.
Download straight to your drive
Turn on "Ask where to save each file" for this session (Chrome: Settings → Downloads), or move the file from Downloads to the USB drive right after saving.
Before you leave
- Delete the files from the computer's Downloads folder and empty the Recycle Bin.
- Close every private window.
- Safely eject the USB drive before pulling it out, so the files are not corrupted.
Rules of the place
Schools and offices may forbid downloads or certain sites. Respect those rules; a blocked download is a policy choice, not a bug. For the full list of traces a download leaves, see clearing download history.
Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to paste links on a public PC?
Yes. A TikTok link is public information. Just avoid logging in to any account.
My USB drive is not showing up — why?
Some public PCs block USB storage. Ask the staff, or email the file to yourself if it is small.
Can the café owner see what I downloaded?
Network owners can see which sites were visited. Private mode does not hide that.
Paste a TikTok link, pick a format, done. Free, HD, watermark-free.
