How to download TikTok videos without an app

Why skip the app entirely

Search an app store for a “TikTok downloader” and you will find dozens of apps — and on Android, plenty of sites pushing a raw APK to sideload outside the store. Most are not worth the risk. A downloader app has to earn its place on your phone somehow, and with a free tool that usually means earning it at your expense.

• Permissions. Many request storage, media, and sometimes contacts or device identifiers they have no honest reason to touch.

• Copy the URL straight from the address bar, or right-click the video and choose Copy link.
